The program’s schedule

The Nachshon program operates in format of a structured week (IN) and a structuring week (OUT). Each week the participants themselves plan the schedule for the next week, which is implemented with the help of the program’s staff.

Structured week

A structured week is spent in the program’s residence and various subjects are taught by external and house lecturers, program staff, or even participants. These weeks often center around a specific theme, such as leadership, economics, politics, or similar topics.

Structuring week

A structuring week is mostly spent outside the program’s residence and focuses on different subjects, which the participants experience on the ground, and includes content that is different from a routine week.

Campus

A week in which the program’s participants take part in different educational tours, such as a Negev campus, Judea and Samaria week, Jerusalem week or similar, and learn on the ground.

Hiking trip

Trips throughout Israel, ranging over 3 to 5 days (for example in the Judean desert).

Countrywide trip

A two-week trip throughout Israel, from north to south, at the end of the program, planned by the participants, with the help of the staff.
